- At Health class, the next morning, the girls and I received compliments from a few other people who must have been at the cook-off the night before. Throughout the day, I lost track of how many times somebody told me that I should open a restaurant.
- I got the equipment dropped back off to the rental place and got to work about an hour late. My boss asked how the event had gone, and I ran out to the truck and came back in with the plaque. He asked me how much I would charge him to make enough of the four different breads that we'd made for the contest - so that he could feed lunch to the whole office. He told me that we had 80 employees.
- I texted the girls and asked them what we'd paid for the supplies for the contest. The two of them added stuff up and gave me a number. I gave him that same number.
